Deloitte appoints new head of private client services

Accountancy Age: Deloitte has announced the appointment of a new head of private client services, effective July 2017. Nicola Roberts has been appointed to the role. In 2011, she became one of the firm’s youngest partners, having joined the firm in 2008 following 12 years at PwC.

Withers chops London property space in agile working drive

The Lawyer: Withers is set to move out of its London headquarters next summer, reducing the amount of space it occupies by 10,000sq ft. The relocation across the road from its Old Bailey premises will see the firm cut down on space from 72,313sq ft to 60,000sq ft.

HMRC tax clampdown brings £29bn boost to UK government coffers
