Crowe Clark Whitehill announces new CEO appointment

HMRC collects record £5.1bn in inheritance tax

CCH: The £5bn barrier was cleared in IHT receipts for the year to May 2017, a 9% rise in the previous period. The Office for National Statistics revealed that a £5.1bn haul was made, compared to £4.7bn a year earlier.

UK PM Says No Change To Tax Proposals For High Earners

Tax-News: UK Prime Minister Theresa May has downplayed comments by a senior member of her party that there would no income tax increases for higher earners.  In an interview with the Telegraph, Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon said that there would "absolutely" be no income tax rise for higher earners.
