STEP: Joseph Robson, formerly of Ashington in Northumberland, died in Alicante in 2010 at the age of 81, having lived in Spain for nearly 20 years. He had placed most of his GBP389,000 estate in offshore funds, out of reach of Spanish succession law, and had made a will in 1996 leaving it to the British National Party (BNP).
