Director of Finance: Bashing the rich is basic socialism of the sort debated by sixth-formers, but it may well win Labour the election. However, these attacks on success should be in addition to sound policies, not instead. Whoever runs Britain from 2015 needs to be looking for billions, not mere millions, to close the budget deficit.
