Two new partners for Saffery Champness

Saffrey Champness: Top 20 firm of chartered accountants Saffery Champness has appointed two new partners at its Manchester office as it prepares to strengthen its presence in Cheshire, Derbyshire and the North West following a period of sustained growth. Mike Hodges joins from Mazars where he was a partner heading up the regional tax team. His role at Saffery Champness will see him working closely with entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals advising on tax and tax planning. Catherine Desmond has been part of the team at Saffery Champness’ Manchester office since 2003 and is an active member of the firm’s Landed Estates Group. In her new position as partner she will play a leading role in the firm’s work with rural businesses and estates across Cheshire and Derbyshire.
